Quest offer
You possess an iron will. You draw wisdom out of past mistakes. Now demonstrate to me the strength you carry. I will keep it short, so listen up. To the far east, in the Burning Steppes north of the Redridge Mountains, a simmering giant slumbers, his power unparalleled. Search the northern mountains, slay the fiery beast and bring me his burning eye.
On return
Do not falter now.
Turn-in
<The giant's eye is incredibly hot, yet it matters little to Mathias. Sizzling noises erupt from his hand while he inspects the stone you brought him. After having marveled at it long enough, Mathias dunks it into a nearby water bucket, filling the room with steam. The steam clears, and what you see in his burned hand is an immaculate glass marble.> Such an interesting material. I've always wanted to get my hands on one of these, just to experience their intense heat. Impressive work, Hero. You've proven yourself to me. Welcome to the fold.
