Can you imagine a greater misery than being aware of your perpetual undeath? To be bound to this accursed tower till the end of time? I certainly can not. Forever doomed to research the mysteries of the Arcane, many of us have lost their mind already. Who can blame them? One would assume it to be an easy way out of this desolation. But I am not a man who gives in to the path of least resistance. Upon my pride as a scholar, I will break free from the magical tether of this spire; and you will assist me. Search the library. The maddened master of the tower possesses a book with a striking title, a heavy tome I need you to find. ‘Solutions to Arcane Resonance', that is what I require. Bring it to me and we will finally be able to break free of this eternal shackle.
On return
You will know which grimoire it is once you're near it. Its potent energies pour out of its pages even decades later.
Turn-in
Breathtaking. The mysteries that will unfurl before my eyes while reading this ancient tome will be the key to our freedom.
