On return
In her dissertation, Aszune theorizes that arcane energy naturally coalesces after some time. This, however, could be accelerated in an albeit unnatural way. She wrote that if attuning two similarly inclined implements to the same wave of energy, they would eventually fuse, creating something wholly new. My desire to try this on my own is indescribable. Let us begin with something simple for now; who knows what kind of dangerous repercussions our actions may bring with them. Following these incantations, I will attempt to coagulate two brilliant shards, creating something magnificent. Hero, if you could deliver me these shards, it'd be much appreciated.
Turn-in
<Crackling energy shoots out from the magical shards, while Javon recites the spell. Heat begins to emanate from his hand and the pieces begin to form a liquid union, hovering slightly in the air. Shortly after, a burst of mana erupts - and in Javon's hand lies a nexus crystal.> Splendid, seeing it unfold right before my eyes is something I will remember forever. To think what we've achieved today was only possible because of ten-thousand year old knowledge, wisdom my people treasured for millennia is a testament to our resilience. Don't fret, young Hero, without your aid, all of this would not have been possible. Please keep the crystal as your reward. I am adamant that we can refine the process even further, so I would be pleased if you'd gather the needed components once again.
