<In your hands is the glimmering shard formerly held by Zuluhed, Chieftain of the Dragonmaw Clan. Looking at his lifeless body, you remember just what he was able to accomplish with the relic that is now in your possession: A piece of the Demon Soul, the legendary artifact used by Nekros Skullcrusher to enslave the Dragon Queen Alexstrasza, the Aspect of the Red Dragonflight. Still brimming with power bestowed upon it long ago, you contemplate on what to do with it. Perhaps you’ll be able to find a member of the Red Dragonflight willing to speak with you about this dangerous implement.>
On return
This aura...! It cannot be!
Turn-in
<Nydiszanz recoils and hisses in pain at the sight of the Demon Soul shard. Just being near it causes a visceral reaction by him.> Impossible, you retrieved it and dare bring it to us?! I don’t know if you are reckless, cruel, gullible or all of the above. But... you being here... with it... It means the Dragonmaw are no more. Their warchief returned to the cycle, their machinations thwarted. And the Demon Soul returned to us. Even through all its taint, I can sense the Queen’s benevolence somewhere hidden within, reaching out... Hero, hand me the shard and I will deliver it to our Queen. Only she is capable of destroying the last remnants from this dark hour of our past. For you, I present these. A just reward for your sacrifice in stopping the Dragonmaw and ending the terror of the Demon Soul. Use it well, mortal.
