The tablet you find emanates with ancient power. Drenched in an imposing aura, you surmise it must be a relic from bygone times that somehow found its way into the clutches of Majordomo Executus. Reading its contents, runes and markings can be found describing a powerful resurrection spell for ageless beings. All that is needed is the recital of its lines and the essence of whatever being you wish to anchor once more into the mortal world. Still driven by the thrill of adventure and pillaging, you wonder if you could use this artifact for your own personal gains…
On return
What is it, mortal? What desire drives you to pester me in my ghostly state, peacefully roaming these lands? Spare it, I know the answer already; riches and baubles are the fool’s only errand. You are too late then, I can and will not assist you in your absurd quest for treasure. How is a ghost supposed to do that, idiot? <You tell the dragon spirit about the relic you possess.> Oh, a relic of resurrection, you say? Perhaps you aren’t such a simpleton after all. Listen carefully, mortal! I won’t repeat myself twice. I am offering you a deal: Resurrect me with that artifact and the riches you so desperately seek shall be yours. Gather the essence of my lesser brethren, the greater good demands their noble sacrifice. It may be grand, but it is a sacrifice I am willing to make. Only then will you be able to invoke the scroll’s latent power.
Turn-in
<With the essences at hand, you read the runes out aloud. Benevolent rays of warmth encompass the spirit of Azuregos, before his corporeal body begins manifesting on the leaf laced ground. After finishing the incantation, the mighty dragon bellows a mighty roar.> What a gullible fool you are. Did you really expect me to hand a mere mortal the powerful treasures of my flight? Ridiculous! My treasures are mine and mine alone. As reward for your naivete, let me demonstrate how hospitable the Blue Dragonflight can be!
