Junk
I was born under a bad moon, orphaned, exiled, no horns, no place to call my own. Still, the Earthmother whispered to me, "go to the mountain." I didn't understand, but when I was old enough to work, I began my life as a fisher. There was no greater joy I found than fishing for eels. They sold well at market, were good sport to catch, and attracted turtles who had a preference for them as well. Many hours I spent on the beaches of Tanaris and Hinterlands, sitting among the turtles and getting the daily catch of eels.
On late evenings I believe I could hear the eels speak to me. They too whispered, "go to the mountain." I still did not understand, but I knew eels. They would breed in the ocean, and live their life in fresh water creeks and placid ponds. So one day I went into the mountains, knowing that there would be no schools of eels, but perhaps I would learn something about myself. Into the reaches of the Hyjalian mountains I went, I heard tale of a lake beneath Nordrasil, the old world tree. Surely the eels would be there.
I found upon the shores of that lake, other fishers like me, called to the mountain. They hauled great nets teeming with eels, and welcomed me. The Earthmother, the eels, they were right. I found my place with other fishers, my home, my tribe at long last. - Rodfather
