<Oglethorpe eyes the finished bomb with a mix of pride and deep, mounting concern> Well... upon some reflection—and maybe a teensy bit of hindsight—I'm not entirely convinced crafting that for you was the best idea I've ever had... M-maybe I should hold onto it... just to, you know, keep the world intact for another day or two... Okay, okay! No need for the death glare—yikes! Just... take the blasted thing! But do us all a favor and carry it as far away as possible! Avoid fire, goblins, sudden movements, loud noises, and especially me when you're holding it! <He gingerly places the bomb into your hands> Now go, go! Shoo! Be gone before I have second thoughts! Ooooh—but wait! All this tinkering just gave me the most brilliant idea—EXPLOSIVE DUCKS!No one expects an explosive duck! Heehee! The waddling! The detonating! THE POSSIBILITIES!
On return
You have finally returned, mortal. I hope you bear good tidings.
Turn-in
In your absence, there has been much disturbance. Strange lights, flickering with unnatural hues, have danced from the depths of that cursed crypt. The air itself trembles with arcane dissonance. Whatever stirs beneath... it grows stronger. It is good that you have returned. We are running out of time. May the gnome's contraption—chaotic though it may be—combined with the sacred fire of my kin, be enough to quell the abomination that waits below. If it is not... then the consequences will echo far beyond these hills.
