Aha! Hmm... well now, this isn't entirely a disaster. I've got—let's see—coil springs, flux regulators, containment gel... Yes! I've got most of what I need! However! I am running a bit low on a few key components—namely, Solid Blasting Powder, Bronze Frameworks, and Whirring Bronze Gizmos. Nothing too exotic! Any halfway-competent engineer could whip those up with the right materials. No offense if you're only quarter-competent, of course! Now, one thing might prove a bit trickier... the heat-resistant trigger. Not just any old trigger, mind you—this one's a specialty piece from Undermine. Built to withstand extreme temperatures. Last I heard, the latest shipment from Undermine got intercepted by those scoundrelly Bloodsail pirates. If you're lucky—and still have all your limbs by the end—you might find one of those precious triggers stashed in the pirate camps to the southeast. Off you go then! Bring me the goods, and I'll bring the boom!
On return
Got the materials? Hurry!
Turn-in
<Oglethorpe adjusts his goggles and inspects the materials with exaggerated precision> Ooooh, yes! The powder's potent, the framework's solid, and the gizmo's got just the right amount of whirrrr. Excellent work! These will do nicely—no duds, no rust, no strange gooey residue. Always a good sign! Now stand back, friend—way back—and prepare to witness engineering brilliance in action! I shall now craft... the BOMB OF THE AGES! ...Heh. Just, uh—quick question before I start the final assembly. You're not planning to use this in town, are you? Or on, say... anyone I know? Or me?
